He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where he specialized in lifestyle intervention for prevention, optimal management and reversal of chronic diseases such as diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
Before joining the Winer Wellness Center staff in 2008, Dr. Honigman had a successful practice in Bucks County Pennsylvania. He also worked at Holy Redeemer Hospital researching medical problems related to excessive weight, as well as nutritional constituents used to reverse heart disease. The results were utilized to improve the cardiovascular lifestyle program.
Altogether he has over 40 years of a broad based background in both the conventional and alternative health fields, and has used that experience to help others prevent, optimally manage and even reverse many chronic conditions such as various autoimmune disorders, obesity, anxiety, acid reflux and more.
This combined experience enables him to help other navigate through the confusion of conflicting messages and health advice that they read on the Internet and in books, watch on TV, and even hear from other health and wellness experts.
He will address the root cause of your problem and the only major side effect is that you will be on the way to maximize your wellness potential. Your questions will be welcomed and your input honored.
Dr. Honigman always has a smile for his patients and is available for nutritional and lifestyle counseling, as well as evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
In his spare time, Dr. Honigman enjoys movies, reading and as often as possible walking the hills and trails of his beloved Frick Park.
You can listen to Dr. Honigman, live, every Saturday at 1:00 PM on KDKA radio where he hosts “Get Well Naturally” a live call-in natural health show.
